How end users opt in

The complete opt-in path for a Voxxium account holder. Each step happens inside the Voxxium web application.

  1. 1
    Create a Voxxium account
Staff signs up at voxxium.com/signup with business email and password.
  2. 2
    Verify email address
Click the verification link delivered by email to activate the account.
  3. 3
    Open Settings → Notifications
Navigate to voxxium.com/portal/notifications inside the authenticated portal. This is the only surface where SMS opt-in is offered.
  4. 4
Enter mobile number and check the consent box
The user types their U.S. mobile number in E.164 format and ticks the required consent checkbox. The "Enable SMS alerts" button stays disabled until both fields are valid.
  5. 5
    Receive one-time confirmation SMS
On submit, Voxxium records consent metadata (timestamp, IP, user-agent, verbatim disclosure text) and immediately sends the confirmation SMS shown below.
